I started thinking about how much time I wanted to spend with the kids this summer and how fun I wanted it to be for all of us. I have a habit of allowing each day to go by without planning anything then Summer is over and we didn't do near the things we could have. So this summer I decided we needed a bucket list. With the help of pinterest we came up with an awesome list of things to do this summer. But first I had to buy a camera. Yes, me of all people. I have close to ten thousand dollars in camera equipment and I needed to buy a camera. Groupon helped me find a $90 small digital point and shoot camera. I didn't want to spend all summer trying to make sure my settings were perfect then upload it in lightrooom just to see the flaws that I needed to edit. This way I can put the camera on auto, point and capture that moment of fun. I want to enjoy this summer not see it as an opportunity for photography. This is my life and my kids memories not a portfolio building opportunity. Enjoy the imperfections of it with me. :-)
When I'm pregnant I nest like a crazy person…. like re-do entire rooms, paint, remodel, try to even buy a house. This pregnancy I redid our living room completely, our master bathroom, and did a few things in the kitchen. My friend Crystal came over and I put her to work with all the things I was no longer aloud to do (via my husband). She painted my bathroom and this awesome chalk wall in my kitchen. I'll get a better picture of the wall and add it later. I bought these letters and numbers from homegoods and I love how they look on our pallet wall. I'm going to get the verse put up above the 5. It's Luke 6:45
New King James Version (NKJV)
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
A good reminder for our family.
The framed area is magnetic also. Below the frame is Karsyn, Koah, and Kabe's area to color.

This week we crossed off a few more things on our bucket list. We made homemade popsicles with a pinterest recipe I found. Sprite and gummy bears. We shared them my friend Christine and her kiddos.
We Planted a Garden and we made dirt cake. The kids loved the dirt cake. It was pudding, crushed oreos, chocolate rocks, and gummy worms.
Thats all for this past week. June 8, 2014
